Constructed from 1.5 inch celery top hull and deck over hardwood keel and ribs. Weighing in at 14 tonnes she was put to use in Tasmania as a lobster boat. She was then sold and traveled to Lord Howe island where she worked for 6 years before being sent to Port Macquarie in 2004 where she had a complete conversion refit. At this point a re-conditioned Gardner 127 hp engine was sent out from the UK and fitted along with a new gearbox, shaft and prop. Since 2021, Mac Marine Group has given Prohibition a full cosmetic, electrical and mechanical refit.
