Moody Eclipse 33 - $99,000
The Moody Eclipse 33 is a deck saloon motorsailer, known for its ease of handling and comfortable interior.
Built in 1990 by Marine Projects out of Plymouth UK, the Moody yachts particularly of this era were considered a very strong and well-built yacht.
‘Lone Star’ has been lovingly cared for over the years having sailed down from Qld some 10 years ago, where she has been berthed at the RMYC. Recent upgrades include a new Volvo Penta engine installation in 2022. Mast removed by Riggtech, where complete standing and running rigging were replaced and mast/boom serviced in 2021. Antifouled in March of this year, where a comprehensive insurance survey report was done by Boat Spec which can be available on request.
Below decks, she offers a surprising amount of comfortable living space. The raised saloon is a real boon, giving you a fantastic all-round view of the anchorage, as well as providing enough seating for four to dine in comfort, or six for cosy drinks. The large deckhouse windows also make the entire saloon, galley and navigation areas bright and cheery, whatever the weather.
She also has berths for six, comprising of a big v-berth forward, a surprisingly roomy double aft and a pull-out double in the saloon, if you really want to pack them in. Her galley is also well-equipped with stowage and work surface aplenty.
