‘el Chapo’ may cruise the waterways in humble elegance with her current owners aboard, however once upon a time it was owned by Australian actress Cate Blanchett, and used to relax and enjoy the sights of Sydney Harbour.
In 2013, ‘el Chapo’ was repowered with a modern Yanmar 41 kw diesel. This was the start to her rebirth. In 2022, the vessel was painted and varnished externally and refitted internally, which now features a Corian benchtop grounded through a brass sink and mixer. The high end coastal feel is accentuated through the soft furnishings in a sandy, striped pattern.
In 2022, the vessel was also fitted with a new Simrad GPS. Simrad Autopilot, Dometic fridge, batteries, battery charger and Fusion stereo.
